Forty high school youth attended the annual Serra Leadership Institute this summer. Youth, from parishes around the diocese, gathered at Camp St. Francis in Aptos, for 5 days of leadership development, fun, prayer, and pastoral planning. As a foundation, each participant took the Gallup Strengths Finder survey, to learn about their own God given talents. Then throughout the week, participants learned how to work with others, using everyone’s talents along with their own. Next years Institute is scheduled for June 27- July 1.
