Website Article Submission Guidelines:

The Diocese of Monterey welcomes article and event submissions for our website and online calendar that meet the following criteria:

• Subject matter must be of interest to broader readership throughout the Diocese of Monterey

• Content must be in line with Catholic Teachings

• Send as Microsoft Word attachment via e-mail to media@dioceseofmonterey.org

• Include basic information: who, what, when, where, why, how

• No unattributed opinions - quote people directly

• Concise and objective writing style

• Release forms are needed from the parents for any minors that are shown in pictures. Group shots that don't identify the people in the pictures - taken from the back of a large group can be used without a release.

• Please send no more than two JPEG or PNG photos per article

• Photos must have captions identifying people (include in article)

• Article will be submitted to appropriate Diocesan/Parish/School/Ministry Director for approval
