The School of Ministry is pleased to offer the third cohort for the School of Ministry. Our mission is to form competent lay ministers to work together with the ordained to further the mission of the church by providing training with high standards, effective methods and comprehensive learning goals. We celebrate, reflect and respond to the great cultural diversity and rich history of the Catholic Church. The School challenges the baptized to answer their call to missionary discipleship to bring the Good News of Jesus to all, through effective ministry to the people of God in their parishes and communities.
The professor teaches from one of the three locations, and the presentation is "Zoomed" to the other two locations. The professor will teach in a different location each month.
Year 1 students study multiple themes, including: -Scripture -Moral principles -Sacraments and Liturgy -Spirituality and Prayer -Communication Skills -Many Others
Please register early, as we expect much interest, and each location can only accommodate a certain number of people! For more information, please contact Program Coordinator Ann Ventura at aventura@dioceseofmonterey.org or call: 831-645-2848.
