In 2014, Bishop Garcia created a new approach to welcoming children into the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Monterey.  This new approach, known as Bishop Ryan's TOP Trust is dedicated to developing and administering a sound program to provide tuition assistance to children attending any of the Catholic schools with the Diocese.

• TOP's mission is to provide for sufficient financial assistance to make a Catholic school education a reality by adding a diocesan level of support to each school's funding efforts.
• TOP's goal is to raise enough assistance funds to see every desk filled in our Catholic schools.
• TOP's success depends on all of us working together for our children, our schools.
